MELBOURNE, FL – In an effort to raise awareness of the many children in\u00a0Brevard County<\/a>\u00a0available for adoption and in recognition of\u00a0National Adoption Month<\/a>, Brevard Family Partnership, in partnership with the Avenue Viera will host its fourth annual \u201cWalk for Love\u201d on Saturday, November 14.\u00a0 Registration will begin at 8:15 a.m. and the walk will begin at 9:00 a.m.<\/span><\/p>\n

The walk will commence and conclude at the Courtyard in the\u00a0Avenue Viera<\/a>\u00a0with the halfway point at Brevard County Government Center.\u00a0 Led by Unified Court\u00a0Judge Charlie Crawford<\/a>\u00a0and his staff, over 200 people are expected to participate including community leaders, Brevard Family Partnership staff members and child welfare providers.<\/p>\n

The public is invited join in the walk and there is no charge to participate.\u00a0 Lunch will be provided for all participants upon completion.\u00a0 Entertainment and children\u2019s activities, including a moon walk will be featured before and after the event.\u00a0 Local adoption service providers will also be on hand to answer questions and provide information.<\/p>\n

According to the Administration for Children and Families, more than 129,000 children are available for adoption each year.\u00a0 Since 2005, Brevard Family Partnership has helped place over 330 children in \u201cforever homes\u201d with loving families.<\/p>\n
