- Ensuring permanency that resolves a child\u2019s sense of time.<\/span><\/li>\n
- Providing customized services that meet the unique needs of each child and family and are provided by a comprehensive, community-based network of providers who are dedicated to delivering a family-centered, need-driven, responsive service delivery system.<\/span><\/li>\n
- Efficiently and effectively managing resources to achieve better outcomes for children, with the ultimate goal of ensuring child safety and permanency within a 12-month timeframe.<\/span><\/li>\n
- Ensuring financial support will be available from diverse federal, state and local sources and flexibly managed at the local level to meet the needs of children and families in a timely and appropriate manner.<\/span><\/li>\n
- Operating a system that collects and uses data to accurately forecast the services and supports needed, at the level of intensity and duration required, and at the necessary cost to achieve desired outcomes for each child and family.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>

Our History<\/b><\/h2><\/div>Brevard Family Partnership was established in 2003 as a nonprofit organization in response to Florida’s legislative mandate to privatize foster care and related services (<\/span>Section 409.986, Florida Statutes<\/span><\/a>). The state’s community-based care philosophy was designed to empower and challenge neighborhoods and local communities to take ownership of meeting the needs of their children and families. <\/span><\/p>\n
