For many children, especially those in the foster care system, the holidays can be difficult. Some are awaiting their forever families while others are still adjusting to being separated from the life they once knew.\u00a0 Thus, the holidays, which are supposed to be filled with joy and hope, instead can bring sadness and loneliness.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

However, this holiday season, nearly 800\u00a0 of Brevard’s children in foster care will have a reason to smile thanks to some special heroes the local community!
\n<\/span>
\n<\/span> Dozens of individuals and companies have teamed up with<\/span> IMPOWER<\/span><\/b> and <\/span>Brevard Family Partnership <\/span><\/b>for their annual Holiday Gift Drive to \u201csponsor\u201d a child and help grant their holiday wish. Our special thanks to <\/span>Parrish Medical Center, Indyne, Ascension Catholic Church, Abacus Technology, DAVA, Sea Ray Boats, Melbourne SDA Church, Upper Cervical, CASIS, AFSA, Patrick Air Force Base First Sergeant’s Council, Team ISC\/URS, DEOMI, Devereux, Interactive Legal, \u00a0<\/span><\/i>and countless individuals for their commitment to making Brevard children in foster care smile. With thanks to our community partners, we can remind these special children they have not been forgotten; that they too are special and cared for and help them to enjoy the magic of the season \u2013 something all children deserve. \u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
