Dear Friends and Partners,<\/p>\n

The Case Management Agency transition is right around the corner and we are in a great place with transition activities, recruitment, hiring and training all going smoothly. To date, IMPOWER has identified their leadership team and has been meeting to orient and prepare them for the July 1 transition.<\/p>\n

Since our last communication, IMPOWER hosted a meet and greet to introduce the pre-service staff team to their unit peers and supervisor to better acquaint one another. They have also worked diligently to maintain frequent and open communication though the process.<\/p>\n

As you\u2019ll recall, Amanda Dawson, Director of Child Well Being, has been posted in Brevard throughout the transition period and is rotating her time between our two Care Centers. IMPOWER has convened several transition conference calls with Children\u2019s Home Society of Florida\u2019s and Devereux Florida\u2019s leadership to discuss any transition needs. And the pre-service class recently took their tests and will be celebrating this achievement.<\/p>\n

Staff transition activities at the BFP corporate office will take place from June 30 through July 2 and BFP and IMPOWER leadership will be present to meet, greet and support the new case management team.<\/p>\n

\"Anna<\/a>Leading IMPOWER is Ms. Anna M. Baznik, President\/CEO.<\/p>\n

Ms. Baznik has over 25 years of experience leading, managing and working within a wide range of social service and behavioral health programs for large, multi-program, non-profit and public sector entities delivering bottom-line results, efficient systems and strong community relations. During her time with IMPOWER, she has ensured the financial stability of the agency during tumultuous economic times; enhanced visibility and involvement in the Central Florida community and the state; improved quality assurance programs; and greatly expanded our funding sources and relationships.<\/p>\n

Ms. Baznik attained her BA in psychology, Sociology and Religious Studies from Eckerd College. She obtained a Masters in Organizational Management from the University of Phoenix.<\/p>\n

As I close, I\u2019d like to extend our sincere gratitude to Children\u2019s Home Society of Florida and Devereux Florida for their incredible partnerships these last 10 years. Both CHS and Devereux played important roles in the transition to Brevard\u2019s privatized community based care model and have supported our system of care ever since. We appreciate all that they have done for our children and families and look forward to a continued, strong relationship, working with them in other capacities.<\/p>\n
