Wear blue that day and start a conversation about child abuse prevention at the bank, your child\u2019s school, in the grocery store \u2014 wherever you\u2019re out and about.<\/li>\n
- Hold a nail painting event<\/strong><\/span> at your workplace or community group. We can provide resources for your event, or you can invite us to join you, and we\u2019ll paint your group\u2019s fingernails blue. How to Get Involved<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n<\/div><\/i><\/i><\/span>Ways to Be Part of the Solution<\/span><\/a><\/h4><\/div>\nThe HOPE Framework<\/span>\u00a0<\/strong><\/a>\u2014 Healthy Outcomes from Positive Experiences \u2014 is a new way of seeing and talking about experiences that support children\u2019s growth into healthy, resilient adults.<\/strong><\/p>\nOur goal for MANicure Movement\u00ae is to inspire a HOPE-informed movement that educates the community about child abuse prevention efforts and prompts action.<\/strong><\/p>\nIn addition to painting your nail blue to spark a conversation, would you consider taking things a step further by learning more about the important work being done in our communities in the following ways?<\/strong><\/p>\nHere are things you can do to help:<\/strong><\/p>\nDevelop Nurturing and Supportive Relationships<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\nSafe, loving relationships between children and their parents, caregivers and other supportive adults help children grow up healthier and more resilient. Research shows that kids mentored by a caring adult at an early age more successfully maneuver through life\u2019s obstacles.<\/p>\n
